Ducati Hypermotard 950 Side Mount License Plate Instructions
1) Remove (2) swing arm bolts using a 14mm socket. (Picture 2)
2) With the provided (2) aluminum spacers and (2) 60mm bolts, mount new side mount onto the swing arm. (Picture 2)
3) With harness extension, you will be running it from under the seat, down the brake line cover (which you need to remove temporarily to run the harness) to the swing arm. The male end will plug in under the seat, with the female end plugging in down on the swing arm. (Picture 3,4,5) o If you purchased our rear turn signals, you will already have this connector removed from the stock tail section. If not, you will have to open up the stock tail section and pull that up underneath the seat to plug our extension into.
4) Make sure you tighten (2) 60mm bolts to factory specs prior to riding.

Custom designed 2 position side mount license plate for the Ducati Hypermotard 950. This kit eliminates the stock license plate fender, yet using the same mounting location allows you to ride with your license plate mounted horizontally OR vertically!
Kit comes with a license plate light.

Note: The SP and Base models have different chain guards. This kit was designed off the SP model, so the Base model would either require the SP chain guard, or you can simply cut it (shorten) so avoid clearance issues with the side mount.
